What's old on psyclick.org.uk

11.10.2003
- Fixed the forum database, with huge thanks to Adam Alkins.

- Updated a few things on the groups page, no new ones just yet
- Fixed a few links and added a few reciprocal ones

- Added access keys to the menu and footer links, again inspired by A List Apart

31.10.2002
- A couple more additions made to the groups page, for Leeds and Yorkshire.
- Just passed 700 hits for the site - not bad considering my limited efforts at promotion.
17.10.2002
- Hopefully the site is now usable in Netscape 4. It will not look pretty, but NS4 was released in June 1997 and does not support web standards. It is maddening (and often impossible) to write code that looks good in both standards-compliant and old browsers. If you're still stuck with Netscape 4 (or older?!), I would recommend upgrading
- Finally added details on a few more assistant / graduate groups to the groups page
- Made some changes to the email links on this page, to obfuscate the addresses

- Changed to 'Useful links page' to Links, to accomodate further reading in books, articles etc.
- Added a few links to books on Amazon, which I have joined as an affiliate. This means that if anyone buys a book from Amazon having followed my link, I get a little commission. Should I get any, I will put it toward buying better functionality for the forum
- Finally added the links to courses on the links page

- Made the welcome page a bit more presentable
- Tried to make the contribute page a bit more explicit
- Made the title headings style a bit smarter
18.09.2002
- The system at DarkCounter is out of order, possibly for good. So I have replaced the counter on the welcome page with one from Jellycounter. It uses JavaScript, which I wanted to avoid, but it will do for now. Created my own digits for it.

03.09.2002

- Getting my head around CSS, which lets me change the look of the site much easier.
- Re-did the logo to make it a bit smaller, tweaked the background
- Changed the menu from frames based to table based, as it seems frames are not a good idea (and are possibly evil)
01.08.2002
- My first attempt to get things going. No content yet but worked out a draft menu, outlining areas to cover.
- Did the logo in Paint Shop Pro, worked out surprisingly well cos I'm no artist.
- mailto: links are obfuscated using this page, to reduce the likelihood of spambots getting my address.
